Meet the team
David Nicol originally trained as a photographer before moving away from creative arts for many years. Although never fully abandoning art it wasn’t until 2013 that he became more serious about painting and drawing. Art Swansea came from the personal experience of being actively discouraged from pursuing art in favour of more “traditional” job roles. David’s goal with Art Swansea is to give people the opportunity to explore their creativity in ways that were unavailable to him. David’s work has been exhibited in Swansea’s Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, Cyfarthfa Castle, Merthyr Tydfil, with works sold to buyers all over the world.
Kate Sullivan has a background in visual arts, especially tactile physical works, notably ceramics. Kate has a general passion for art and creating. Again, the pressures of life had pushed art to the back burner, until now.
Robert Harris has worked for many years in roles supporting adults, but has always been keen to design and make things. With numerous creations under his belt, Rob is our structural and installation expert.
Eve Harris is a qualified counsellor and therapist (https://www.ebtherapies.com/) accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Eve is passionate about mental health and well-being, and has supported adults for nearly a decade in these areas. Eve enjoys and appreciates art.
