We’re Art Swansea and our mission is to help you explore your creativity. We provide free to access art sessions that are a safe space to grow your artistic talents.
Our sessions start on Friday August 2nd 2024 at Dyfatty Community Centre from 7-9pm.
Art Swansea sessions are accessible to adults living in Swansea. Regardless of your artistic ability, or where you want it to take you, you’ll be welcome to join us.
Our sessions are currently able to supply you with what you’ll need to express yourself through the medium of drawing. Our aim is to expand this in the future to painting and other forms of art. You’re welcome to bring your own art supplies if you’re just looking for somewhere to create in peace.
The sessions are not “art lessons”, there is the opportunity to engage in guided artistic discussion but it’s entirely up to you if you just want to come and create, or get involved, or even a bit of both.
For inspiration, or if you want to improve your skills, there are two still life setups, and the plan is to provide a model for life drawing. Again, you can use these, or do your own thing. It’s about your journey, and your art.
